Annually, the prestigious Gelett Burgess Children’s Book Award is granted to children’s books in 40 categories. Our annual review process recognizes the writers, illustrators and publishers who raise the standard of quality in books
produced for children.

Parents, Educators, Librarians and Retailers trust the
high mark of distinction the Gelett Burgess Center honors

Master Class Scholarship Fund

The Gelett Burgess Center is pleased to announce the
Gelett Burgess Scholarship for Young Writers, honoring
exemplary high school seniors and college students wishing
to pursue careers in writing. more info
